Kate Baker

Kate Baker is a National Engineering Leader at Laminex and the Managing Director & Founder of South West Women in Infrastructure, Mining & Minerals Inc. (SWWIMM), where they focus on empowering women in resource sectors. With over a decade of experience, they have successfully led projects in engineering, business development, and safety standards. Kate has also held significant roles at Monadelphous, where they managed commercial and engineering support across multiple operations, and they are an Executive Committee member at the Bunbury Geographe Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BGCCI), contributing to local business growth. They hold a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering with Materials Major from the University of Western Australia.
