Michael Smith

Michael Smith is an experienced leader in military operations and organizational management, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer and Business Manager at LAMMCO since August 2023. Prior to this role, Michael held the position of Technical Advisor at Samaritan's Purse from January to August 2023. With significant experience at the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, Michael directed operations and training for an 800-employee organization from August 2020 to January 2023. Previous leadership roles include Commanding Officer of the 3d Marine Raider Support Battalion, where Michael managed a $2M budget and extensive resources, and Director of Training and Development, overseeing training programs for personnel within a $5M budget. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in National Security & Strategy from the University of Haifa and a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology from Ball State University.
