Roger Reading

Roger Reading is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in procurement and supply chain management. Currently serving as the Director of Procurement and Supply Chain at Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation since 2010, Roger Reading oversees procurement for the construction and operation of four nuclear reactors in Abu Dhabi, with power expected to connect to the grid in 2017. Previously, as the Group Procurement and Supply Chain Manager at Lamprell Energy since November 2007, Roger Reading managed a budget of approximately USD $600 million annually for oil and gas rig construction and refurbishment projects, leading a team of 137 staff across three locations in the UAE. Earlier career experience includes serving as the Director of Strategic Procurement at Curtin University from January 2006 to January 2007, where Roger Reading achieved significant procurement savings of $11 million in the first year, managing a spend of approximately $350 million. Roger Reading holds an MBA in Business from UNSW, attained in 1992.
