Colin Brown

Colin Brown is an experienced professional in planning and development, currently serving as a Regional Board Member at LandAid since July 2021 and as a Partner and Head of the Planning & Development Division at Carter Jonas since January 2015. At Carter Jonas, Colin leads a team focused on adding value to clients' property assets through tailored professional advice, and previously held the position of Managing Director at Januarys Consultant Surveyors from August 2000 to January 2015, where responsibilities included brand growth and client management. Colin's earlier roles include Associate at Bidwells and Planning Consultant at W A Fairhurst & Partners, with expertise in various planning consultancy tasks, including development applications and environmental assessments. Colin holds a BA (Hons) in Town and Country Planning from Newcastle University and has a foundational education at King's School, Tynemouth, and St Georges English School, Rome.
