David Atkins

David Atkins is an experienced leader in the real estate and property sectors, currently serving as Chair of Landmark since December 2022 and as Patron of LandAid since December 2023. With a long-standing role as Director and Trustee of the Reading Real Estate Foundation since June 2014, David has also been a Non-Executive Director at Whitbread from January 2016 until July 2024 and a Board Advisor at Britannia Parking from June 2021 to June 2024. David's previous roles include Trustee and Governor at Berkhamsted School from May 2014 to September 2023, Non-Executive Director at OCS Group UK until January 2023, and a significant tenure at Hammerson from 1998 to November 2020, where responsibilities encompassed Chief Executive, Managing Director UK, Head of Retail Parks, and Group Property Executive. David began a career in various roles at DTZ, a UGL company, from 1988 to 1998. Educationally, David attended the University of Reading from 1985 to 1988 and Berkhamsted School from 1973 to 1984.
