Its core focus is on providing high quality salmon eggs, smolts (juvenile fish) and genetic services to salmon producers globally. Its unique expertise and technologies can be applied to any farmed aquatic species. 

Based in Scotland, but operating worldwide, the company has an excellent reputation in breeding technology. It has pioneered vital aspects of improving resistance to common diseases, infection from parasitic sea lice and pancreatic disease in salmon, as well as improving growth and feed conversion efficiency. As part of Hendrix Genetics, Landcatch is developing to serve a much bigger and wider range of aquaculture customers.
