Ashley Mason is an experienced leader in infrastructure, construction, and operations and maintenance services, currently serving as the Chief Risk Officer at Downer Group since September 2023. They were previously the Delivery Director for the Gowrie to Kagaru section of the ARTC Inland Rail PPP project from May 2022 to August 2023 and held the Strategic Advisor position at Built Pty Ltd until February 2022. From 2016 to 2021, Mason was the Global Head of Operational Risk at Lendlease Group, overseeing major construction projects globally. They have also held significant roles at Leighton Holdings and Macmahon, contributing to major transport and telecommunications projects. Mason is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Industrial Relations at The University of Queensland.
