Duncan Winter

Duncan Winter has extensive work experience in product management and engineering. Duncan is currently serving as the VP of Product & Engineering at LeadGenius, where they previously held the position of Senior Director of Product & Engineering. Duncan played a key role in rebuilding LeadGenius' product line, transforming manual processes into a self-service platform and driving customer software adoption from 5% to 95%. Additionally, they launched customer-facing API and data integrations, resulting in 2M+ record transmissions per week and securing $2M enterprise customers. Duncan Winter also partnered with Operations to pilot a new customer tool, leading to significant resource savings and faster delivery of reports and tools.

Before joining LeadGenius, Duncan Winter worked at Mattermark as the Director of Product Management, overseeing product strategy and development. Duncan successfully partnered with the CTO to develop and execute a roadmap for a suite of data products.

Prior to that, Duncan Winter held the position of Director of Product Management at Quri, where they mentored and hired multiple PMs and expanded the team of contractor analysts. Duncan spearheaded the development of ML applications to streamline data review processes, reducing time and cost.

Duncan Winter also worked at MedeAnalytics Inc as a Senior Product Manager, where they led the development and management of Patient Access, a healthcare task tracking application. Duncan collaborated with various teams to prioritize and define product requirements and implemented products across major hospital groups.

Furthermore, Duncan Winter co-founded ClassBadges.com, where they served as the CEO and successfully raised seed money to develop a software platform for teachers.

Duncan began their career as a Product Manager at ZeroChaos and oDesk before founding workstir. Duncan also worked as a Senior Product Manager at CBS Interactive and as a Product Manager at Preclick.

Duncan Winter attended The Evergreen State College from 1999 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. In 2003, they briefly studied Mandarin language at Chinese Cultural University, although they did not earn a degree in this field.
