Landings LLP is home to some of Canada’s most respected refugee, immigration, and human rights lawyers. We are widely-recognized by our peers and clients for our expertise, innovative advocacy and our professionalism. The lawyers at Landings LLP are fierce advocates with extensive experience representing clients in both complex and straightforward matters. We pride ourselves on taking the time needed to ensure that each case we take on is given the care and attention it needs.

Landings LLP represents individuals seeking refugee protection, temporary and permanent immigration status in Canada and Canadian citizenship. We also assist individuals and their families when problems arise with their immigration status. In addition, we act for non-government organizations who want legal advice and we challenge unjust laws and government actions through constitutional litigation. We are often involved in high-profile cases and regularly appear before the Immigration and Refugee Board and all levels of Court, including the Supreme Court of Canada.

Our lawyers bring broad and varied experiences to their practices. We have been adjudicators for the Immigration and Refugee Board, worked with the United Nations and we have provided strategic advice to advocacy organizations. Our lawyers have experience working on Bay Street and Wall Street and have clerked at Canada’s highest courts. We are adjunct faculty at leading Canadian law schools, volunteer as board directors and we have published books and articles on immigration and refugee law.

We are trusted members of the legal community and often receive referrals from other lawyers and previous clients. We offer legal services in English, French, Spanish, Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, Swahili and Haitian Creole.
