Debbie Akehurst has a diverse work experience spanning over several years.

- Debbie worked as an Independent Consultant for Social Mobility in Action starting from February 2018.

- Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Economy and Communities at Land Securities since September 2009. During their time at Land Securities, they implemented a change process, introduced strategic direction and criteria for corporate giving, and developed the Land Securities London Employment Strategy.
