Laura Rickards

Laura Rickards has a diverse work experience starting from 2007. Laura began their career as an Events Assistant at The MotivAction Group plc during their student placement. Laura then worked as an Assistant Wedding Planner at Storrs Hall Hotel. Later, they became the Founding Treasurer at The Events Society, Leeds Metropolitan University. After that, Laura worked as a Finance Administrator at Contact Law. Their next role was as an Event Manager at the Royal Institution of Naval Architects. Laura then joined Land Securities as a PMO Coordinator before moving on to become an IS Portfolio Analyst. In 2018, they joined Edinburgh bioQuarter - at University of Edinburgh, where they served as a Proximity to Discovery Coordinator. Currently, Laura is employed as a Student Midwife at the University of Cumbria.
