Marina Thomas

Marina Thomas is an experienced governance professional currently serving as the Head of Governance and Company Secretary at Landsec since November 2022, where responsibilities include acting as Secretary to the Board and its Committees as a member of the Executive Leadership Team. Previously, Marina held the position of Group Company Secretary at Meggitt PLC from November 2005 to November 2022, overseeing corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and various operational aspects as a member of the Group's Executive Committee. Earlier career roles include serving as Manager, Professional Services (Group Secretariat) at the Royal Bank of Scotland, and working as an Accounts Assistant at the University of Southampton. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Sociology from the University of Southampton, along with completion of the Meggitt Strategic Leadership Programme at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
