Cody Hebert has a diverse work experience that spans several roles and industries. In 2011, they worked as a Graphic Designer at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where they were responsible for developing facility structures and maintaining branding through advertisements and apparel. From 2013 to 2015, they served as a Creative Director at Calzone & Associates, Inc., overseeing the design of complex websites and managing advertising campaigns. In 2015, they worked as a Lead Web Designer at Swift Archer. From 2016 to 2018, they held a short-term position as the Creative Director at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Georgia Properties. Cody also worked as a Product Designer at ASAP from 2016 to 2020, where they presented designs, collaborated with cross-functional teams, and promoted design best practices. Cody was a Senior Product Designer at Upwork from 2012 to 2020, where they collaborated with clients worldwide, conducted research, and increased conversion rates. In 2019, they founded Vetica Photo Studio, a company that offers photo editing services. Most recently, they have been working as a Product Lead at LandTrust- The Recreation Access Network™ since March 2020, collaborating with various departments to shape the product vision and strategy. Additionally, they are a Founding 200 Member of Product School, a community for Product Leaders.

Cody Hebert obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Graphic Design from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. In 2013, they participated in a Study Abroad program in London, England, at the same university.

Following their undergraduate studies, Cody pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Graphic Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design, which they completed from 2014 to 2016.

In 2017, Cody attended The Interaction Design Foundation to pursue a degree in User Experience Design, which they completed in 2018.

Cody holds additional certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. They obtained a certification in Human Computer Interaction for User Experience Design from MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) in July 2019. They also received certifications in User Insights for Product Decisions from Reforge in April 2023, and in Advanced Branding, Designing Emotion: How To Use Design To Move People, Learning Conversion Rate Optimization, and Persuasive UX: Ethics of Persuasive Design from LinkedIn in March 2020.
