Business Development Leader at Landus

Brian Crowe has a diverse and extensive work experience. Most recently, they have been working as a Business Development Leader at Landus since March 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Executive Vice President of Economic Development at the Greater Des Moines Partnership from January 2021 to February 2022.

From August 2017 to January 2021, Brian held the position of Vice President of Business Investment at ICR Iowa, where they led regional efforts for business attraction and collaborated with various partners to bring business opportunities to the Iowa City-Cedar Rapids region.

Before that, from April 2013 to January 2021, they worked in the Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance as an Economic Development leader. Prior to that, from December 2006 to August 2010, they worked at the Iowa Office of Energy Independence, managing the implementation of the state's $100 million energy innovation fund. Brian was responsible for project recruitment, contracting, and building relationships with various stakeholders in the energy sector.

Brian's work experience also includes serving as a Peace Corps volunteer from June 2002 to September 2004. During that time, they taught high school English to Romanian and Hungarian students and undertook various community-building initiatives.

Brian Crowe attended the University of Illinois Chicago from 1999 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in History.
