Sam Franklin has a diverse work experience across various industries. They started their career as an English Teacher at Interac in 2012 and then moved on to Stepworld in 2013 with the same role. In 2016, they worked as a Content Writer at The SMF Group for a short period. From 2017 to 2019, they gained experience in marketing roles at Saffron Interactive, starting as a Marketing Assistant and progressing to a Marketing Manager. In 2019, they joined Filtered as a Marketing Manager and later became the Head of Marketing, where they focused on using data to optimize learning and development strategies. Currently, Sam Franklin holds the position of Marketing Director at Landytech, a financial technology company that provides investment reporting solutions.

Sam Franklin completed a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Literature - Media - Culture from Lund University from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English and History from Goldsmiths, University of London from 2008 to 2011. Before attending university, Sam attended Hills Road Sixth Form College from 2006 to 2008. Sam completed their secondary education at The King's School, Ely in 2006. In terms of additional certifications, Sam obtained a Level 6 Award in The Digital Customer Experience (VRQ) from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing in January 2021. In 2019, they obtained an Associate (ALPI) certification from The Learning and Performance Institute. Additionally, Sam earned a CELTA certification from Cambridge English Language Assessment in November 2011. Sam is currently studying for a Level 6 Diploma in Professional Marketing from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing.
