Ali Modaressi

Ali Modaressi serves as Chief Executive Officer of the Los Angeles Network for Enhanced Services (LANES) since 2018. Prior to this role, they founded Intelligent Concepts and served as president from 1992 to 1998, growing revenue and leading strategic plans until the company was acquired by WebMD in 1998. They then held roles at WebMD as Manager, Technical Support (1998-2002) and at Sage Healthcare Software as Director, Technical Services (2002-2009), where they directed eight direct reports and over 90 technical engineers across 22 states, and oversaw deployments of network systems, servers, storage, wireless devices, and electronic medical records. They served as Senior Director, Health IT at L.A. Care Health Plan from 2010 to 2017. Their education includes a Master Degree in Management Science & Operations Research from the University of Warwick, a Bachelor Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Leicester Polytechnic, and a Graduate Diploma in Mathematics and Computer Science from Coventry Polytechnic; they also hold Six Sigma and ITIL V3 Foundation certifications.
