Ann Dancy has a diverse work experience in the healthcare and social services field. Ann started their career at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, NC as an MSW from October 1985 to June 1989. Ann then joined Carolinas HealthCare System as an MSW and Case Management Supervisor from June 1989 to August 1991. In August 1991, Ann joined Ascentria Care Alliance as the Director, responsible for the oversight and day-to-day operations of Disability Services and Services for New Americans. Ann also started Language Bank and In-Home Care during their tenure with the organization. Ann later became the Vice President of New Hampshire Operations and oversaw various programs such as In-Home Care, Disability Services, Services for New Americans, Therapeutic Family Connections, and Workforce Development. Ann also initiated the Language Bank, a social entrepreneurial business for interpretation and translation. Ann continued as Vice President until September 2014 when their tenure with the company ended.
Ann Dancy has a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Louisville. Ann also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Guilford College. Additionally, they have obtained the certification of ACSW (Academy of Certified Social Workers), although the institution and year of obtaining the certification are unknown.
