Jennifer Carson is a seasoned educational professional specializing in language education and assessment. Currently serving as a Board Member for the Southern Conference on Language Teaching and a Proficiency & Learning Specialist at Language Testing International, Jennifer recognizes language proficiency through ACTFL assessments and supports the Seal of Biliteracy. Jennifer has extensive teaching experience as an Adjunct Faculty member at Old Dominion University and has held various leadership roles, including Coordinator of K-12 World Languages for Virginia Beach City Public Schools, where responsibilities included supervising over 175 educators and managing significant educational grants. Jennifer’s background also includes curriculum development for International Baccalaureate programs and previous legal experience as an Associate Attorney and Law Clerk. Jennifer holds a Master of Education in Educational Administration and Supervision from the University of Virginia, a Juris Doctor from Duke University School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Bryn Mawr College.
