Sylvia Karastathi

Sylvia Karastathi is a dedicated lecturer and teacher educator with a rich background in academia. They have served as a Lecturer at Ionian University since 2018, while also holding the position of MA Tutor and Thesis Supervisor at Hellenic Open University from 2021 to 2023. Sylvia's previous roles include being a lecturer and Head of English Department at New York College from 2013 to 2019, as well as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at the University of Bern. They earned a PhD in English, Literature and Visual Culture from the University of Cambridge, where they also taught as a BA Tutor.
