Jenna Park

Jenna Park has over 10 years of experience in UX design, creative strategy, visual design, design systems, motion design, and prototyping. Jenna has worked for various companies, starting in 2001 with Cabengo as an Art Director and Interaction Designer. In 2004, they became Creative Director, Editor, and Partner of PopLife Media, LLC. Jenna then moved to OneWire Finance as a UI/Visual Designer in 2008, followed by Self Employed as a UX/Visual Designer. In 2010, they joined Tribal DDB as an Art Director.

In 2008, Park co-founded Whimsy & Spice, a Brooklyn-based bakery, where they were responsible for design, creative strategy, branding, packaging, styling, and photography of product images and seasonal campaigns. Jenna also created and launched lifestyle products, including paper goods and kitchen accessories, and grew wholesale and e-commerce sales exclusively through social media marketing.

In 2014, they became Head of Community, Brand, and Growth at Katch.me. In 2018, Park joined Language Dept. as Lead UX Designer, where they were responsible for UX and product design, creative strategy, visual design, design systems, motion design, and prototyping. Jenna also mentored junior designers and introduced new UX processes and tools to the organization. Projects they worked on included UX strategy and product customization for CRM, designing custom features in Microsoft D365 for BNY Mellon, UX/UI lead redesigning customer dashboard and onboarding experiences for Splendid Spoon, product design, motion design, and advanced prototyping for a stealth app, and design mentorship, guiding UX processes, tools, and framework across the organization.

Currently, Park is an Advisor at Synch.Live.

Jenna Park received their Master of Professional Studies from NYU Tisch School of the Arts in the Interactive Telecommunications Program. Jenna attended The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art for their undergraduate studies in Fine Art. Jenna also holds a Bachelor of Arts from The Evergreen State College in Music Composition and Technology.
