Lanka Roots is a non-profit initiative building an Empowerment and Training Center in Trincomalee, Sri Lanka.

Our goal is to create sustainable opportunities for young people and single mothers through practical education, hospitality training and real pathways into employment.

The project combines three elements:
an Empowerment Center for education and personal development, a Training Hotel where hospitality skills are learned through real practice, and gastronomy training that connects learning with small income-generating activities.

By combining education with a financially sustainable model, Lanka Roots aims to create long-term local opportunity rather than short-term aid.

We are currently in the foundation phase and preparing partnerships, pilot programs and fundraising to bring the first training activities to life.

We welcome partners, institutions and supporters who believe in education, dignity and sustainable opportunity.
