Tony Meyer has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Tony started their career as a Lecturer at Massey University in 2000 and also worked as a Lecturer at NorthTec Tai Tokerau Wānanga and Lifeway College from 2005 to 2008. In 2005, Tony joined N-able SpamExperts as an Email Security Architect, where they were responsible for developing anti-spam products and private cloud services. Tony worked there for 12 years until 2017. From 2017 to 2020, Tony worked at SolarWinds, first as a Software Architect and then as a Product Owner. In these roles, they focused on designing and transitioning products for different markets and prioritizing development efforts. Tony also served as the Board Chair at Ahuroa School from 2012 to 2021, where they played a key role in strategic planning and overseeing various aspects of the school's operations. Currently, Tony is working as a Business Coach at Lanterne, where they provide advice and guidance on technical state, product decisions, roadmaps, and personal growth of the CTO/CPO.

Tony Meyer has a diverse education history. In 1996, they enrolled at Massey University and pursued a Bachelor of Business Studies degree in the field of Business/Commerce, which they completed in 2000. Additionally, during the same period, Tony also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Massey University.

Following their undergraduate studies, Tony furthered their education at Massey University in 2001, where they successfully completed a post-graduate Diploma in Science with a specialization in Computer Science.

In addition to their academic achievements, Tony has also obtained two certifications in their professional career. In April 2020, they became Pragmatic Management Certified (PMC-I) from Pragmatic Institute. Furthermore, in July 2020, they earned the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from Scrum Alliance.
