Todd Gerbert began their work experience as a Field Service Engineer at Systems Solution in 1996. Todd then transitioned to the United States Air Force in 2001, working as an Aircraft Armament Systems Apprentice until 2004. Following this, Todd joined Sussman Automotive as an IT Manager from 2004 to 2012. In 2012, they worked as a Freelance Contractor before joining Advanced Network Products, Inc. as a Support Engineer II from 2013 to 2014. Finally, Todd joined Lantium Inc. in 2014 as a Systems Engineer II.

From 2001 to 2004, Todd attended the Community College of the Air Force, where they studied Aircraft Armament Systems Technology. Todd did not obtain a degree during their time at this institution.

In 2001, Todd briefly attended Excelsior University, focusing on Information Technology. However, they did not complete a degree program there.

Prior to their college experience, Todd obtained a high school diploma from Wissahickon High School between 1991 and 1994.
