Bart Vanclooster is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the chemicals and oil industries. Currently serving as the Head of Technology and Plant Management at LANXESS since January 2011, Bart is responsible for overseeing technical departments, maintenance, engineering, and project activities, while also managing overall plant operations collaboratively with the Head of Production. Previously, Bart held various roles at ExxonMobil from September 2007 to December 2010, including Design Engineer, FCCU Contact Engineer, and Equipment Engineer, focusing on technical modifications, process optimization, and maintenance in refinery operations. Bart holds a Master’s degree in Electrotechnical-Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Biomedical Engineering from Ghent University.
