Dirk Moeckel

Dirk Moeckel has extensive experience in global marketing and business leadership within the chemical industry, currently serving as Global Marketing Director for Chlorotoluenes & Derivatives at LANXESS since April 2008, where responsibilities include managing a product portfolio from four manufacturing plants and overseeing sales teams. Previously, Moeckel held various leadership positions at LANXESS, including roles focused on chlorobenzenes, monoisocyanates, and inorganic acids, as well as serving as Business Director at INEOS ABS. Additional past roles at Bayer AG involved strategic planning, business development, and operational oversight across multiple sites. Moeckel earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Duisburg-Essen in 1998.
