Jesse Allan

Chemist

Jesse Allan is a chemist with extensive experience in research and development of grease-based products and detergents at LANXESS Americas since August 2017. Prior to this role, Jesse served as an instructor at The Princeton Review from May 2016 to May 2021, teaching general chemistry to prospective MCAT students. Jesse's early career included a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) from May 2010 to August 2017, where work focused on synthesizing and characterizing organometallic compounds for electrochromic applications and analyzing conducting thin film polymer materials. Throughout the academic tenure, Jesse also held roles as a teaching assistant and research assistant, gaining valuable skills in laboratory instruction, material characterization, and the development of innovative membrane materials for fuel-cell applications. Jesse holds a Ph.D. in Materials Chemistry and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Ontario Tech University.
