Lothar Gasper

Lothar Gasper is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in environmental management and energy policy. Currently serving as a Senior Environmental Officer in Regulatory Management at LANXESS since May 2011, Lothar oversees compliance with environmental regulations, guides licensing procedures, and conducts environmental inspections while training new personnel. Previously, as Head of Energy Policy at LANXESS, responsibilities included monitoring regulations, conducting risk analyses, and advocating for policies in industrial associations. Prior experience at GKN Automotive as Programme Manager focused on product development for automotive components, conducting feasibility studies, and managing environmental compliance. Lothar holds an MSc in Energy Management from the University of Koblenz and Landau and a PhD in Chemistry from RWTH Aachen University.
