Tom Martens

Tom Martens currently serves as the Plant Manager for Cyclohexane oxidation and Cyclohexanone production at Envalior since April 2023. Prior to this role, Tom held various managerial positions at LANXESS, including Plant Manager for Cyclohexanone production and Polyamide 6, alongside responsibilities in production management for Caprolactam from August 2011. Tom's academic background includes a Postdoctoral Researcher role at the University of Antwerp from September 2005 to August 2011, where responsibilities encompassed coordinating atmospheric plasma research, developing a knowledge management system, creating reactors utilizing CO2 and CH4 as feedstock, and conducting energy efficiency evaluations. Tom obtained a Master’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Antwerp, completing studies from 2001 to 2005, and attended Sint-Pietersinstituut Turnhout.
