Wayne MacKwood

Wayne Mackwood has extensive experience in the field of detergents and grease technology, currently serving as the Head of Detergent and Grease Technology at LANXESS since August 2007. Throughout the tenure at LANXESS, Wayne has held several key positions including R&D Manager and Global Market Manager. In addition to the role at LANXESS, Wayne holds multiple leadership positions at the National Lubricating Grease Institute, including President and previously serving as Vice-President and Treasurer. Prior experiences include roles as Senior Scientist at Kinectrics and Scientist at Chemtura, among others. Wayne holds a Master’s degree in Engineering (Materials Science) from Western University, a certificate in Environmental Engineering Science from Ryerson University, and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Materials Science) from Western University.
