Stephane Thion

Stephane Thion has a diverse work experience in various industries and leadership roles. Stephane currently holds the position of General Manager EMEA at LanzaJet, where they are responsible for deploying LanzaJet ATJ technology in Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Prior to this, they worked at Total, Refining and Chemicals, Renewable Fuels, serving as the Head of Sustainable Aviation Fuels, where they focused on delivering sustainable renewable fuels growth for the Marine and Aviation sectors.

Before that, Stephane worked at Ingevity as the Managing Director, Asia Pacific, overseeing a USD c. 200MM, 250-person organization with offices across Asia Pacific. Stephane was also the Director of Strategy for Ingevity's Industrial Specialties global strategy. Stephane'sexperience at Cool Planet Energy Systems involved leading international efforts and strategic planning.

Stephane also had a role at TOTAL, New Energies, Solar Division, as the Head of Strategy & Business Development, where they developed the division's global solar activities and drove SunPower's business development. Stephane served as the Chief Strategy Officer at AE Polysilicon Corp, responsible for strengthening internal control and assessing viability.

Earlier in their career, Stephane worked as a Corporate Auditor at TOTAL S.A., providing independent assurance and consulting activities. Stephane also held various roles at Cray Valley, including Business Development Manager, Sales & Marketing Manager for Canada, Mexico & Latin America, Product Manager, Technical Sales Representative, and Business Analyst.

Stephane Thion's education history begins in 1994 when they enrolled at Paris ESLSCA Business School. Stephane completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in International Management in 1997.

After working for several years, Stephane returned to pursue further education at the Fox School of Business at Temple University from 2001 to 2003. During this time, they earned an Executive Master's degree in Business Administration.

In 2008 and 2009, Stephane undertook executive education at HEC Paris. Stephane focused on subjects related to Business Administration, Management, and Operations.
