Alisa Lapidus

Alisa Lapidus is a co-owner of Chayka Sofia Studio, a Los Angeles-based studio founded in October 2010, specializing in interdisciplinary projects that combine cinematic and culinary elements to creatively represent cuisine and gastronomy. In addition to this role, Alisa serves as the Production Media Manager and in-house Projections Designer at LAOpera, where responsibilities include collaborating with designers and directors on multimedia elements for productions. Prior experience includes working as an Animator, Sculptor, and Illustrator at Space Bass Films from October 2006 to December 2007, focusing on puppet fabrication, set building, and stop-motion animation. Alisa holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Experimental Animation from the California Institute of the Arts, completed in 2006, and studied at Otis College of Art and Design from 2001 to 2002.
