Melissa Jensen

Melissa Jensen is a dedicated police officer with the LAPD since January 2019. Prior to this, Melissa served as a community outreach and Pacific program lead for travel2change, focusing on sustainable tourism initiatives, and held a fellowship with New Blue. Melissa's experience also includes roles as a Crossfit instructor and graduate assistant at Hawaii Pacific University, where responsibilities centered on coordinating educational services and administrative duties. Earlier in the career, Melissa taught English and History in Denmark, worked as a marketing and sales coordinator, and led the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee at the University of New Orleans. Melissa holds a Master of Arts in Global Leadership and Sustainable Development and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
