Alex Thier is a global policy leader on rights and democracy, climate and equality, peace and justice. They currently serve as Chief Executive Officer of Lapis Group and as a Senior Advisor at MOBY Group. They previously led the Global Fund to End Modern Slavery as Chief Executive Officer (2020–2022) and founded Triple Helix, LLC (2016–2021), and they served as Executive Director of the Overseas Development Institute (2017–2019). Their education includes a JD from Stanford Law School and a BA from Brown University, and they are pursuing a MALD at Tufts University's Fletcher School.
