in 1959 and manufactures at more than 19
production sites. It has 41 sales companies and employs
more than 5,055 people worldwide. Company founder
Oskar Lapp invented ÖLFLEX® in 1957, the first industrially
manufactured flexible control cable with color coding.
Since this LAPP has been one of the country’s hidden
champions and develops innovative connection solutions
for customers all over the world.
LAPP is best known for its highly flexible cables and
connectors. Also in the automation and robotics technology,
the family-owned company is developing at a rapid
pace. The core markets are in mechanical and plant
engineering as well as in the food industry and e-mobility.

Lapp Group supplies the Ukrainian market with about 40 000 standard products. Cables and wires are also developed and produced according to individual specifications and customer requirements. In 2003 the commercial company "LAPP UKRAINE LLC" was opened, which became a full-fledged operator in the market of cable-wire and electrical products, with its own warehouse of products.
