L'Argine a Vencò has opened its doors in 2014. The restaurant, located just 1 mile from the Slovenian border, stands alongside a 17th century mill surrounded by vineyards and by a river, Judrio. Less than one year from the opening, the restaurant has earned a Michelin star. 

At Vencò, Chef Klugmann uses local products to serve a seasonal and never static menu. Vegetables are equally important to meat and fish. Wastes are avoided using everything of ingredients, even parts that are usually thrown away. Her recipes look only apparently simple, often made with few ingredients served with original accompaniments. The “luxury“ culinary experience at L’Argine is linked to the possibility to taste products common in nature but not available at the market.
