Mreenav Deka

Mreenav Deka is a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer with experience in developing and implementing advanced object detection models and pipelines. Currently working at Larian Studios since May 2024, Mreenav previously held positions at Fraunhofer IIS as a Research Assistant, where Mreenav focused on object detection models and domain adaptation. At Motius, Mreenav created a detection pipeline for small objects, achieving high precision, and cleaned extensive datasets for machine learning applications. Mreenav's earlier roles include a Student Assistant position at TUM School of Management, where coding exercises for Business Analytics were prepared, and as a Software Engineer at CGI, developing APIs for a trade finance platform. Mreenav's career began as a Data Engineering Intern at BiosectRx, laying the groundwork for data scraping and analysis in biotechnology. Mreenav holds a Master of Science in Data Engineering and Analytics from the Technical University of Munich and a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Silchar.
