Jami Larson

Jami Larson is an experienced professional with a strong background in leadership and governance. As the 2nd Ward City Councilman for the City of Ames since November 2005, Jami also holds significant roles in the corporate sector, serving as a Board Member and Compensation Committee Chair at Ames National Corporation since January 2000, and as a Board Member at First National Bank of Ames since January 1995. With a focus on real estate development, Jami has been President of Larson Development since January 1990, specializing in commercial and multi-family projects in the Ames area. Previously, from January 1972 to June 2005, Jami served as President and CEO of ACI Mechanical Corporation, successfully selling the company to Comfort Systems USA and continuing to lead it until retirement. Jami holds a degree from Iowa State University - Ivy College of Business, earned between 1970 and 1974.
