LaRue is a film, television, and digital media production and distribution company based in Toronto, Canada.

Our mission at LaRue is simple: be innovative and tell great stories. We pride ourselves on being creator driven, which means putting the interests of our artists first. Why? Because that’s just how you make better content. And as a direct result, we have consistently delivered high-quality, boundary-pushing short and long form content. Toronto International Film Festival content. Canadian Screen Award Winning content. International Emmy nominated content. Content for Videndi. Content for NBCUniversal. Content for CBC. Simply put, we like to make bold content that makes waves, whatever its format or genre.

As a production house, we deliver “excellence behind the scenes” (our official motto) in all stages – from development to distribution. We do this by tapping into our extensive network of highly capable talent, both in front of and behind the camera, throughout these stages.

We have also added our own distribution arm, setting our sights on international growth. We attend international markets like MIPCOM, C21, Berlinale, Realscreen, Scripted Summit and SXSW, to name a few. Growing globally is our next step. LaRue has doubled in growth every year since it’s inception.
