Laser Diagnostic Instruments (LDI) manufactures autonomous non-contact sensors that detect oil on water and Spectral Fluorescence Signatures Analyzers to detect and analyze fingerprints of compounds .

Highly accurate and easy to maintain, Remote Optical Watcher (ROW) finds oil spills early so you can respond before things get out of hand.

Fluo-Imager, Spectral Fluorescence Signatures Analyzer, offers express detection and identification of organic compounds in liquid samples. Its operation is based on the techniques of SFS and pattern recognition. This direct measurement method provides quantitative and qualitative information on a wide range of parameters without the need for sample pre-treatment.

LDI has been working on remote-sensing technologies since 1991. Our most sophisticated products are aircraft and ship-mounted laser based (LiDAR) systems that can detect spills once oil has sunk beneath the surface.
