M-Saïd Rouifed, Ph.D., is currently an R&D Manager at LASER COMPONENTS, where they spearhead the development of semiconductor Pulsed laser diode devices. They previously served as a Senior Optoelectronic Researcher at Denselight Semiconductors Pte Ltd, focusing on advanced InP-based products for global telecommunications. M-Saïd completed postdoctoral research at Nanyang Technological University and Université Denis Diderot (Paris VII), specializing in silicon photonics and resonant non-linearities in quantum cascade lasers. M-Saïd holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Université Paris Sud (Paris XI).
