Pierre Chazan

Pierre Chazan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business development and sales within the photonics and sensor industries. Currently serving as Senior Business Development Manager at LASER COMPONENTS since December 2022, Chazan focuses on the growth of the IR business, covering a range of products. Prior experience includes roles as Key Account Manager at TE Connectivity, overseeing markets in France, the UK, Benelux, Israel, and APAC regions, and as Sales Manager at First Sensor, where responsibilities encompassed the A&D and industrial markets in France. Chazan has also held key positions in sales and management at notable companies such as e2v, Atmel, Alcatel Optronics, Alcatel, and completed a postdoctoral position at Fraunhofer IAF, where significant contributions were made in the development of high power semiconductor lasers. Chazan holds advanced degrees in Business Administration and Opto-electronics, as well as an engineering degree in Electronics.
