David Chen

David Chen is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in technology innovation and information security. Currently serving as the Director of IT Services at Laserfiche since 2009, David has modernized IT services by migrating legacy applications to cloud-based solutions and oversees the company's information security efforts, including developing security standards and managing vendor risks. Previously, as the Manager of IT, David upgraded technologies and provided global support for over 400 employees. Earlier in David's career, as a Systems and Database Administrator at UCLA Registrar's Office from 2002 to 2009, significant contributions included architecting electronic transcript systems and leading the development of a new student records database. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science & Engineering from UCLA, earned in 2002.
