Thomas Phelps

Thomas Phelps has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Thomas began their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Director, where they were responsible for leading IT and security strategy engagements. Thomas also played a key role in developing security standards for the motion picture industry. In 2014, they joined Laserfiche as Vice President of Corporate Strategy & CIO, overseeing corporate and product strategy, IT transformation, and compliance and security initiatives. Thomas then took on adjunct teaching responsibilities at the University of Southern California - Marshall School of Business in 2019, focusing on IT auditing and data analytics. Thomas also served as the Chairperson for Long Beach Accelerator, leading the board in organizational development, technology deployment, and marketing efforts. Thomas currently holds positions as the Marketing & Branding Chair on the boards of both STEM ADVANTAGE and Innovate@UCLA. Previously, they served as the President of Ascend Leadership's Los Angeles Metro chapter from 2009 to 2018.

Thomas Phelps holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Management Information Systems from the Texas McCombs School of Business. In January 2020, they obtained the APMG Accredited Trainer – Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification from APMG International. Thomas has also achieved the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification from ISACA, although the specific date of attainment is unknown.
