LASOONA Relief and Development Organization is a national, multidisciplinary, non-profit organization that has been at the forefront of promoting ecologically sound development in remote areas of Pakistan since 1997. Founded by a dedicated and visionary group, LASOONA is committed to supporting human and natural resource development, with a focus on uplifting marginalized communities and fostering sustainable growth.

LASOONA is incorporated as a not-for-profit company and registered under Section 42 of the Companies Act 2017 with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP). This registration underscores our commitment to transparency, accountability, and good governance.

The name LASOONA, derived from Pashto, translates to "Hands." This name symbolizes our organization's hands-on approach to serving the needs of the people. We believe that by working together and lending a helping hand, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of marginalized communities.

Our Vision: A resilient and equitable society where citizens lead dignified and prosperous lives.

Our mission: To empower disadvantaged and at-risk communities to recover from shocks and crises, manage their resources sustainably & equitably, and are able to break the cycle of poverty. 
We achieve this through, emergency relief, building climate resilience, equitable social & economic development, and sustainable food systems.
