Gian Oddone

Gian Oddone is currently an advisor at Lassogen, but has previous experience working with Agrinos, Inc., Biolucid LLC, Genomatica Inc., and Novozymes. In their previous positions, they were responsible for all aspects of R&D with respect to co-culture fermentation, process development and piloting at 2 and 50L scales, 1,4 BDO process design and proof at demonstration scale, and opening the commercial avenue for production of Genomatica's products at Novamont. Gian also drove experimental fermentation program tightly integrated with strain design in order to generate knowledge around metabolic engineering design principles.

Gian Oddone received their Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of California, Davis. Gian is currently a professor of chemical engineering at UC Davis.
