Ákos Barta

Ákos Barta has extensive work experience in software engineering and architecture. Ákos currently holds the position of Sr. Principal Software Engineer and Chief Architect at LastPass since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked at LogMeIn from 2015 to 2022, where they held various roles including Principal Software Engineer, Architect, Staff Software Engineer, Technical lead, Senior Software Engineer, and Software Engineer. Before LogMeIn, they worked as a Middleware Developer at Budapest Bank, GE Capital from August 2014 to March 2015. Ákos also worked as a Developer at Netpositive Kft. from March 2012 to July 2014.

Ákos Barta completed their high school education at Budapesti Szent István Gimnázium from 2002 to 2008, with a focus on mathematics. Ákos later pursued their undergraduate studies at Corvinus University of Budapest from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Economist. Ákos continued their education at the same institution and obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Economist from Corvinus University of Budapest between 2012 and 2014.
