Alex Stemaly

Alex Stemaly has a diverse work experience in the field of information security and network analysis. They are currently working as a Senior Detection & Response Engineer at LastPass, where they are responsible for developing and implementing infrastructure-as-code techniques using Azure, GitLab, and Bicep. They also conduct offensive testing and develop detective measures in a multi-cloud environment.

Prior to this, Alex worked as a Security Researcher at Synack Red Team and as a Network Security Engineer at Cerdant. They also have experience as a Network Analyst at Borgess Health and as a Network Technician at Bloomingdale Communications. Additionally, Alex has worked as an IT Specialist at Cornerstone Technologies and as an Intern at several organizations including Southern Michigan Bank & Trust, Century Bank and Trust, Coldwater Community Schools, and Tekonsha Township Hall.

During their role as a Web Master at Tekonsha Township Hall, Alex gained experience in backend services, implementing complex HTML code, and providing efficient customer support.

Alex Stemaly's education history includes earning an Associate's degree in Information Technology from Kellogg Community College in 2018. Prior to this, Alex received a High School Diploma in Information Technology from Coldwater High School in 2017. Before attending Coldwater High School, Alex attended Portage Northern High School from 2015 to 2017, where no degree was obtained, but they focused on General Studies.
