Joseph Bowman

Joseph Bowman is a cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in leadership and compliance. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Cybersecurity at LastPass since July 2023, Joseph leads a team focused on reducing security incidents and improving staff retention. Previously, as Lead Customer Trust GRC Analyst at Splunk from July 2021 to May 2023, Joseph oversaw the EMEA customer trust team, ensuring regulatory compliance and managing numerous security-related customer requests. As Information Security Manager at HooYu from May 2019 to June 2021, Joseph directed GRC and ISMS initiatives and facilitated secure cloud migration. Earlier experience includes a role as Technical Content Writer for Cyber Security at the University of Central Florida, where Joseph produced informative content on cybersecurity topics. Joseph holds a Master’s degree in English Language and Literature from Royal Holloway, University of London, and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Central Florida.
