Mark Banit

Mark Banit has a diverse work experience in the field of eLearning and multimedia development. Mark has held various roles in companies such as Later, The Hospital for Sick Children, RBC, ivari Canada, McGraw-Hill Ryerson, Durham College, and UOIT.

In their most recent position as a Product Education Lead at Later, starting in April 2022, Mark is responsible for leading product education initiatives.

Prior to that, Mark worked as a Digital Learning Program Manager at The Hospital for Sick Children from October 2018 to March 2022.

At RBC, Mark was a Senior Manager, Design | RBC Learning from March 2018 to September 2018. Mark designed and developed bilingual eLearning solutions and managed the development of a large-scale learning program.

During their tenure at ivari Canada, Mark held two roles. As a Learning Solutions Architect from November 2016 to March 2018, they developed innovative technology-based solutions for learning and development. Mark also served as a Learning Technology Developer from January 2014 to November 2016, where they created eLearning courses and streamlined the eLearning development process.

At McGraw-Hill Ryerson, Mark worked as a Senior Product Developer - Digital from February 2012 to January 2014. Mark created custom interactive eLearning activities and managed the production of education-based websites. Mark also served as a Project Manager from February 2009 to February 2012, overseeing website production and creating interactive learning activities.

In their role as a Multimedia Developer at Durham College from September 2008 to February 2009, Mark collaborated with faculty members to enhance student learning through eLearning solutions.

Lastly, at UOIT, Mark was a Multimedia Developer from May 2006 to April 2008. Mark created websites, graphics, and interactive eLearning content and supervised a team of student developers.

Mark Banit attended Durham College from 2003 to 2006, where they pursued a degree in Multimedia Design. Their field of study focused on Web Page, Digital/Multimedia, and Information Resources Design.
