Thomas Countoures

Thomas Countoures has extensive work experience in software development and engineering. Thomas started their career as a Sales Associate at EB Games in 2004. Later, they worked as a Freelance Web Designer and Developer, creating websites for clients in various industries. In 2012, they were a Junior Web Developer at Simon Fraser University.

From 2013 to 2019, Thomas worked in various software development roles. Thomas started as a Junior Software Developer at Function Point and then served as a Web Developer at Backbone Technology, where they developed websites using the company's CMS. At eManage Development, they worked as a Software Engineer focusing on Angular and Node.js.

In 2016, Thomas joined Incognito Software Systems as a Software Engineer, working on their Auto Configuration Server. Thomas was responsible for developing and maintaining a custom JavaScript framework and writing Python scripts for UI code deployment.

In 2019, Thomas worked at iQmetrix as a Software Engineer before moving to Ready. At Ready, they held the position of Software Engineer and then advanced to Tech Lead, Backend. Prior to attending university, Thomas participated in the Inter-A Program at Kwantlen Park Secondary, but no specific degree or field of study is mentioned. Additionally, Thomas has pursued additional certifications, including a Vim Masterclass and a Learn to Code with Ruby course from Udemy in 2023, a Learn and Understand NodeJS course in 2018, and a JavaScript: Understanding the Weird Parts course in 2016.
